International Fethiye Oludeniz Air Games, at Babadag 1700 runway
Babadağ, the apple of the eye of Fethiye, the world’s leading paragliding center, has become accessible and popular with the project of the cable car. At the festival, where nearly 400 tandem pilots of THK also jump, our guests from different parts of the world fly with peace of mind, accompanied by a unique view from Babadağ. The meaning of the International Ölüdeniz Air Games has become deeper and more academic as THK, which established Turkey’s first and only aviation university in 2011 and whose vision and mission is to train pilots, continues to take bigger steps.

Babadağ paragliding runway is known as the number one runway in the world and it is one of the rarest runways most suitable for air games due to its geographical features. Due to the air temperature, humidity and wind circulation being suitable for flight, our town, which offers both paragliding and holiday opportunities, continues to make its name known with the air Olympics.

International Fethiye Ölüdeniz Air Games brings together the best aerobatic pilots in different branches of air sports in Fethiye. Within the scope of Ölüdeniz Air Games, in which hundreds of aerobatic pilots from different countries participate, batman and low altitude free jumps, high speed small paragliding shows, motorized paragliding by Turkish Aeronautical Association, mosquito, microlight and hot air balloon shows are held. The Turkish Stars team of the Turkish Air Force also performs demonstration flights in the skies of Calis Beach every year.
